Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with greenhouse growers to successfully deploy Koidra’s DataPilot and KoPilot software, as well as IoT and automation solutions.
- Software Deployment: Configure IoT devices, perform thorough testing, and commission systems to ensure seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
- Customer Guidance: Provide expert guidance to growers in the transition from conventional growing to Data-Driven Growing and Autonomous controls. Advise on optimizing climate control conditions and leverage Koidra’s automation products to enhance growing practices. Work closely with customers to tailor solutions that maximize efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness in greenhouse operations.
- Customer Training: Develop and implement a comprehensive training curriculum for greenhouse growers. Conduct in-depth training sessions and workshops, both on-site and remotely, to ensure customers fully understand and can maximize the benefits of Koidra’s software. Provide ongoing support to ensure correct implementation and data entry.
- Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret growers’ data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement in greenhouse operations. Utilize advanced data analytics to design location-specific growth strategies, monitor crop cycles, and generate actionable key performance indicators (KPIs). Work closely with customers to apply findings in ways that increase yield and productivity.
- Product Feedback: Gather detailed feedback from customers regarding the software’s functionality and user experience. Act as a liaison between the customers and the product development team to assist in the iterative improvement of Koidra’s tools. Contribute to the development and enhancement of new features based on real-world usage and customer needs.
- Technical Support: Provide comprehensive technical support to customers, addressing and resolving software-related issues. Remote troubleshooting as well as occasional on-site visits to ensure systems are functioning optimally and customer satisfaction is maintained.
- Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with customers, serving as their primary point of contact for all software-related inquiries and needs.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering, Horticulture, or a related discipline and two (2) years of experience in digital agriculture and data-driven cultivation techniques.
The experience shall include:
- Expertise in managing and optimizing greenhouse environments using advanced climate control systems.
- Proficiency in data analysis and the application of digital technologies to improve cultivation strategies.
- Experience in logistics management within high-tech greenhouse facilities, including master planning and scheduling.
- In-depth knowledge of implementing and supporting technology platforms tailored to greenhouse operations.
Job Location: 1201 3rd Avenue, Suite 2200, Seattle, WA 98101. Telecommuting is permitted.
This job requires limited domestic and international travel to visit customers (20%).
